Almost December

It's hard to believe that November is almost over. Camp seems like it was ages ago! I'm still trying to figure out how to attach a folder with pictures. As soon as I do it will be up here. We have started Unit 4 in math and the focus is division. This is a short unit and we will be taking the test before you know it. If your child does not know his or her multiplication facts, Xtramath is an option that should be used at home. FASTTMATH will be used at school. Report letters went home on Tuesday. Please contact me if you have any questions. Book Fair is coming up December 4 - 7th. Our preview day will be Monday, December 4th. Shopping will come on Media Center day which is Thursday.

Football Friday!

Just a reminder that this Friday, November 2, is Football Friday. Wear your favorite sports gear to school. U of M is encouraged but not required! We will compete against the other 5th grade classes. The more outrageous, the better our chances of retaining the trophy for Embry's class!!

Share a coke!

Here's the link to the video we watched in science class. Maybe it will give you an idea for science fair! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEBJmZL8G1E
